The SW202 Linear Stain Wiper has horizontal brushing spindles and vertical brushing spindles. It wipes waterbase stain on work pieces such as moulding and strips.
The horizontal spindles are mounted on a plate and slide assembly. Each plate has horizontal spindles placed above the belt conveyor to wipe the top or upper surface of the parts. The plate with horizontal spindles adjusts up/down by hand crank for different part thickness as well as brush wear. The hand crank has a locking mechanism to prevent the head from moving down from vibration. Each horizontal spindle has its own 1 HP gearmotor.
The vertical spindles are placed on either side of the conveyor and rotate against the feed direction; they wipe the sides or edges of the parts. The front and rear spindles adjust in and out by hand cranks. Each vertical spindle has its own gearmotor.
The belt conveyor speed is powered by an AC gearmotor. The conveyor bed height is fixed in order to maintain a constant pass height. All spindles are 1.25" diameter. There is one powered conveyor roller between and one behind the side heads powered by an AC gearmotor.
