The DN700 Dual Head Denibber/Sander helps prepare quality finishes by brushing small fibers off whitewood surfaces without creating new ones. The affordable DN700 not only smoothes the surface, but mattes the sanding sealer. This process makes the topcoat adhere better, for longer-lasting finishes.
With the DN700 Dual Head Denibber/Sander, hundreds of spinning, finger-like strips of sandpaper move back and forth across the substrate—striking it up to 20 times a second! As the tips of the sanding media wear down, just a few turns of the adjusting knob lowers the discs and quickly freshens their aggressiveness. The single-nut, slip-off bearing plates provide quick and easy access to the sanding media cores for disc replacement.

The oscillating abrasive quick discs are—in just half a revolution—moving 4 ¾” sideways in one direction and back again in the second half of the revolution. The travel of the abrasive on the surface is 120-1200 times a minute. This means that the fibers on the surface will be “attacked” alternately from the right and left side up to 20 times per second. As a rule, the RPM will do more to the aggressiveness than the grit.
It should be understood that the DN700 is NOT a sander per se.
