The Packet Load Station is used for automatically inserting groups of parts into a flatline process system. Parts are loaded onto UHMW-covered stationary bars in groups—or packets—in an area up to 18’ long by 50” wide. The packet is lifted using padded bars, moved onto conveyor rolls, and gently placed into the process line. Insertion of the packet is handled automatically by the PLC control system.
