The OVFL series of flatline ovens are constructed using fully-insulated module sections. These can be connected to make any length. It accommodates all heating and cooling tools (see overview) mounted in height-adjustable racking.

The conveyor is designed with two, parallel drivechains with connecting electroplated bars. The enclosure is fabricated from steel tubing and formed panels. These house and provide mounting for the components.

The system includes an operator interface for monitoring oven operation and implementing startup and purge cycles. The screen interface also provides for idling of the heaters during extended breaks or lunch stops.

Design Features Using IRL Panels

Infrared dryers work by emitting infrared energy in the form of wavelengths that vary from 4-7 microns in length. This is the optimal wavelength from drying most organic materials including waterborne, solvent & powder coatings.

A catalytic infrared panel works by first preheating the catalyst bed electrically. Once the minimum temperature is achieved, fuel enters the back of the emitter & is dispersed through the catalyst pad. At the same time, oxygen from the air is diffusing through the front of the emitter. Once the fuel & oxygen converge in the pad, a catalytic reaction takes place resulting in flameless combustion & the creation of infrared energy.

Preassembled gas trains include gas pressure, high & low safety switches, & modulating gas valves. Exhaust system and Intake Blowers up to and including the fan.
